It can be kinda ok for dogs if done properly, but it's deadly for cats. Dogs evolved to eat a lot of what humans eat (no surprises here) bu5 cats lack most of the enzymes to break down veggies. They will starve to death . My take on that is if you want a vegan pet, get a fucking hamster

Not that im in favor of it but a dog can be vegan to a certain extent. There are specially made foods that have everything a dog needs ti be healthy and vegan (They just synthesize meat exclusive nutrients artificially). Google it, its a curious subject despite wildly misunderstood.
